# GetBuilo Privacy Policy: Your Data Rights Explained

> GetBuilo's privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights as a user—including data deletion and export.

Your privacy matters to GetBuilo. This page explains clearly and in plain language what data GetBuilo collects when you use the platform, how it's used, what is never done with it, and what rights you have over your own information. GetBuilo is designed to be a tool you trust with your business ideas—and that trust starts with being transparent about data.

## What Data GetBuilo Collects

**Account information:** When you create a GetBuilo account, the platform collects your email address, name, and (if you use Google sign-in) your Google profile information. If you're on a paid plan, billing information is collected by Stripe—GetBuilo only stores a tokenized reference to your payment method, never your full card details.

**Business project data:** Everything you input into your projects—your business idea, company name, target market descriptions, competitor names, uploaded assets, and all AI-generated content—is stored in GetBuilo's database and associated with your account.

**Usage analytics:** GetBuilo collects anonymized usage data to understand how the platform is being used: which features are most used, where users encounter errors, how long generations take, and similar performance and product analytics. This data does not include the content of your projects.

**Technical data:** Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, device type, and session timestamps are collected automatically when you use the platform. These are used for security monitoring and debugging.

## How Your Data Is Used

* To **deliver the service:** Your business inputs are sent to AI providers to generate the output you request. Your account data is used to manage your subscription, credits, and project access.
* To **improve the platform:** Anonymized, aggregated usage patterns help the team identify bugs, prioritize features, and improve generation quality. This analysis never includes the content of your individual projects.
* To **communicate with you:** Your email address is used to send account notifications (password resets, billing receipts, important service announcements) and, if you opt in, product updates and newsletters.

## What GetBuilo Does Not Do With Your Data

* GetBuilo does **not sell your data** to third parties—ever.
* GetBuilo does **not use your project content or prompts to train AI models**, whether its own or those of any third-party provider.
* GetBuilo does **not share your personal information** with advertisers or data brokers.
* GetBuilo does **not run targeted advertising** using your data.

## Data Retention

GetBuilo retains your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and project data are deleted from GetBuilo's production systems within **30 days**. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained for longer for product analysis purposes.

Billing records are retained for **7 years** in compliance with financial record-keeping requirements, even after account deletion.

## Your Rights

You have the following rights over your data:

* **Access:** You can request a copy of the personal data GetBuilo holds about you at any time.
* **Export:** You can export your project content directly from the GetBuilo dashboard, or request a full data export by emailing **[privacy@getbuilo.com](mailto:privacy@getbuilo.com)**.
* **Correction:** If any of your account information is incorrect, you can update it in **Settings → Account** or contact support.
* **Deletion:** You can delete your account and all associated data from **Settings → Account → Delete Account**. For complete erasure requests, email **[privacy@getbuilo.com](mailto:privacy@getbuilo.com)**.
* **Restriction and objection:** You have the right to request that GetBuilo restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances. Contact **[privacy@getbuilo.com](mailto:privacy@getbuilo.com)** with your request.

If you're located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

## Cookies

GetBuilo uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and gather anonymized analytics about platform usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality (for example, you may be signed out more frequently).

GetBuilo does not use cookies for third-party advertising.
