Getting locked out of your account is frustrating, but most GetBuilo login issues have a quick fix. Whether you’ve forgotten your password, missed a verification email, or run into a problem with Google sign-in, the solutions below will get you back in within minutes. Work through the scenario that matches your situation.
Use a password manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or the one built into your browser to store your GetBuilo credentials. Password managers eliminate forgotten-password lockouts entirely and make it easy to use a strong, unique password for your account.
If you can’t remember your password, reset it directly from the login page—no need to contact support.
  1. Go to the GetBuilo login page and click Forgot password? below the password field.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your GetBuilo account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset email from noreply@getbuilo.com. If you don’t see it within 2 minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
  4. Click the reset link in the email—it expires after 1 hour.
  5. Set a new password and sign in.
If you don’t receive the reset email, make sure you’re entering the correct email address. If the problem persists, contact support@getbuilo.com.
GetBuilo requires email verification before you can access your account. If you signed up but skipped the verification step, you’ll see a prompt asking you to verify your email.
  1. On the login page or verification prompt, click Resend verification email.
  2. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from noreply@getbuilo.com.
  3. Click the Verify Email button in the email.
  4. Once verified, return to the login page and sign in normally.
Verification links expire after 24 hours. If your link has expired, simply request a new one from the login page.
If you signed up using Continue with Google but the Google authentication flow is failing, try the following steps:
  1. Clear your browser cookies and cache. Stale Google auth cookies can cause the OAuth flow to break. Clear cookies in your browser settings, then try signing in again.
  2. Try a different browser. Open GetBuilo in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge to rule out a browser-specific issue.
  3. Disable browser extensions. Ad blockers and privacy extensions can block the Google OAuth popup. Open an incognito window (which disables most extensions) and try signing in there.
  4. Check that third-party cookies are enabled. Google sign-in requires third-party cookies for the auth redirect. In Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy → Cookies and make sure they’re not blocked entirely.
  5. If you’re still stuck, email support@getbuilo.com with the browser and OS you’re using.
GetBuilo temporarily locks accounts after multiple consecutive failed login attempts to protect against unauthorized access.
  1. Wait 15 minutes. The lockout lifts automatically after a short cooldown period.
  2. Once the lockout period ends, try signing in again with the correct credentials.
  3. If you’re unsure of your password, use the Forgot password? flow to reset it before attempting to sign in again—additional failed attempts will restart the lockout timer.
  4. If you believe your account has been locked incorrectly or the lockout hasn’t lifted after 15 minutes, contact support@getbuilo.com to unlock your account manually.
If GetBuilo says your email address doesn’t exist in the system, your account may be registered under a different email.
  1. Think about which email address you used when you signed up. Common mix-ups include personal vs. work email, or an address with a different domain (e.g., Gmail vs. Googlemail).
  2. Check your inbox for any previous emails from getbuilo.com—the address they were sent to is your registered email.
  3. If you signed up with Google, the account is tied to your Google account’s primary email, which may differ from what you’re entering manually.
  4. If you truly can’t locate your account, email support@getbuilo.com with the name you signed up under and any email addresses you may have used. The team can look up your account.
If you’ve enabled two-factor authentication and can’t access your authenticator app or aren’t receiving SMS codes, use your account’s recovery codes to regain access.
  1. On the 2FA prompt, click Use a recovery code.
  2. Enter one of the recovery codes you saved when you set up 2FA. Each code can only be used once.
  3. Once logged in, go to Settings → Security to reconfigure your 2FA method.
If you don’t have your recovery codes: Contact support@getbuilo.com with proof of account ownership (the email address on the account, recent billing activity, or your original sign-up confirmation email). The support team will verify your identity and help you regain access securely.
