Every payment you make in GetBuilo—whether it’s your monthly subscription, a credit top-up, or a plan upgrade—is processed through Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted and widely used payment platforms. GetBuilo chose Stripe specifically because it offers the highest level of payment security available, so you can transact with confidence knowing your financial data is in safe hands.
GetBuilo is PCI-compliant through Stripe’s infrastructure. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1—the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Because all card data is handled exclusively by Stripe, GetBuilo inherits this compliance without ever touching your raw payment information.

Your Card Data Is Never Stored on GetBuilo’s Servers

When you enter your card details at checkout or in your billing settings, that information goes directly to Stripe’s secure servers—GetBuilo’s application never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or billing details. GetBuilo only receives a secure token from Stripe that represents your payment method, which is used to initiate future charges without re-entering your card.

What Stripe Handles for You

Stripe manages the full billing lifecycle in GetBuilo on your behalf:
  • Subscription billing: Your plan renews automatically on your billing date each month. Stripe handles the charge, retries if a payment fails, and sends you a receipt.
  • Credit top-ups: One-time purchases for additional AI credits are processed instantly through Stripe.
  • Plan upgrades and downgrades: Prorated charges and credits are calculated and applied by Stripe when you change plans mid-cycle.
  • Invoices: Every successful payment generates an automatic invoice, available in Settings → Billing → Invoices.
  • Refunds: Approved refunds are issued directly through Stripe back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Supported Payment Methods

Stripe supports a wide range of payment methods. GetBuilo currently accepts:
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Debit cards (where supported by your bank)
Additional payment methods may be added over time. If you need to pay using a method not listed above, contact support@getbuilo.com to discuss options.

Updating Your Payment Method

You can update your card or billing details at any time without any interruption to your subscription:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Method.
  2. Click Update Payment Method.
  3. Enter your new card details in the Stripe-secured form.
  4. Click Save. Your next charge will use the new payment method automatically.

How Refunds Are Processed

If your refund request is approved by the GetBuilo support team, the refund is issued through Stripe directly to the payment method used for the original transaction. You don’t need to take any action—the team handles the refund on the Stripe side once it’s approved. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days of the approval.
