The Founder Coach is your always-available AI business mentor—a conversational AI that already knows your business and gives you candid, strategic guidance whenever you need it. Unlike a generic AI chatbot, the Founder Coach reads your Founder Memory before every conversation, so it understands your idea, your market, your current stage, and the decisions you’ve already made. You can ask it anything: how to find your first customers, whether your pricing makes sense, what risks you’re ignoring, how to think about a pivot, or simply what you should focus on today. It doesn’t just answer questions—it pushes back, challenges assumptions, and helps you think more clearly about your business.

What You Can Ask the Founder Coach

The Founder Coach is built for the full range of founder questions—from high-level strategy to day-to-day tactical decisions. You’re not limited to a fixed set of prompts. Ask it whatever is on your mind. Common areas founders use the Coach for:
  • Customer acquisition: How to find your first users, which channels to prioritize, how to craft your outreach
  • Pricing strategy: Whether your price is positioned correctly, how to test price sensitivity, when to raise or lower prices
  • Business model validation: Whether your assumptions hold up, what you might be missing, how to de-risk your model
  • Prioritization: What to work on next given your current stage, resources, and goals
  • Fundraising and growth: When to raise, what investors look for, how to build traction before approaching them
  • Hiring and team: When to bring on help, what roles to prioritize, how to structure early compensation
  • Mindset and focus: Working through doubt, staying focused, making decisions with incomplete information

How the Founder Coach Differs From Generic AI Chat

Most AI chat tools start from zero every conversation—you have to explain who you are, what your business does, who your customers are, and what problem you’re trying to solve before you get a useful answer. The Founder Coach skips all of that. Because it reads your Founder Memory automatically, it already knows:
  • Your business idea and value proposition
  • Your target customer and market segment
  • Your competitive landscape and positioning
  • Decisions you’ve made and milestones you’ve reached
  • Goals you’ve set and constraints you’re working within
This context makes the Coach’s advice meaningfully more relevant than anything a generic AI tool can produce. It’s the difference between asking a mentor who knows your business versus asking a stranger for advice.

Starting a Conversation

1

Open the Founder Coach

Navigate to Founder Coach from your project dashboard or the main navigation. You’ll land in the conversation interface with your current Founder Memory context already loaded.
2

Ask your question

Type your question or describe the problem you’re working through. Be as specific as you can—the more context you provide in your message, the more targeted the Coach’s response will be.
3

Dig deeper

Don’t stop at the first response. Ask follow-up questions, push back on the Coach’s suggestions, or ask it to explain its reasoning. The conversation gets more valuable the further you take it.
4

Save key insights

When the Coach surfaces an important insight or recommendation, use the Save to Memory option to store it in your Founder Memory. This ensures the insight carries forward into future AI interactions across all modules.

Example Prompts to Get You Started

Here are prompts that consistently produce high-value responses from the Founder Coach:

Saving and Reviewing Past Conversations

Every Founder Coach conversation is automatically saved to your project history. You can return to any past conversation to review the advice, pick up where you left off, or track how your thinking has evolved over time. To access past conversations:
  1. Open the Founder Coach from your dashboard.
  2. Select Conversation History from the top of the interface.
  3. Click any past session to read the full conversation thread.
Insights you’ve saved to Founder Memory from past conversations will also appear in your Memory panel, giving you a quick reference to the most important conclusions you’ve reached.

Getting the Most From the Founder Coach

The quality of the coaching you receive scales directly with the quality of your questions and the honesty of the information you share. A few practices that consistently produce better results: Ask specific, actionable questions. “Help me with marketing” is too broad. “I have a $500 budget and need to acquire my first 20 B2B customers in the next 30 days—what should I do?” gives the Coach everything it needs to give you a real answer. Share the numbers. When you can include specific figures—your price point, your conversion rate, your CAC, your monthly burn—the Coach can reason much more concretely about your situation. Challenge the response. If the Coach’s advice doesn’t feel right, say so. Ask it to steelman the opposite view, identify the assumptions it’s making, or give you a different take. It won’t just agree with you. Use it to prepare for hard conversations. Before a sales call, investor meeting, or difficult co-founder conversation, run the scenario by the Coach. Ask it what questions you’re likely to face and how you should respond.
Be completely honest with the Founder Coach—including about things that aren’t going well. The more candid you are about your challenges, doubts, and mistakes, the more genuinely useful its guidance becomes. The Coach isn’t judging you; it’s here to help you navigate reality, not a polished version of it.
