Whether you want to share a polished business model PDF with a potential investor, pull your brand guide into a design tool, or feed your structured data into another application, GetBuilo gives you the flexibility to export individual modules or your entire project bundle in the format that suits your purpose. This page explains what you can export, which formats are available, and how to get your content out quickly.

What You Can Export

GetBuilo lets you export output from every Founder Journey module individually, or package everything into a single complete business dossier using Export All.

Export Formats

GetBuilo supports three export formats. Choose the one that best fits how you plan to use your content.

PDF

A formatted, branded document ready to share with investors, partners, or advisors. PDFs preserve layout, typography, and visual structure. Use this format when presentation quality matters.

Markdown

Plain-text content with lightweight formatting. Markdown exports are easy to paste into Notion, GitHub, a CMS, or any text editor. Use this format when you want to edit or repurpose your content.

JSON

Structured data format containing all fields and values for every output. JSON exports are designed for developers who want to import GetBuilo data into other tools, databases, or custom applications.

Exporting a Single Module

Open the Module

Navigate to the Founder Journey module whose output you want to export—for example, your Business Model or Competitor Analysis.

Click the Export Button

In the top-right corner of the module output view, click the Export button (the download icon). A format selection dialog will appear.

Choose Your Format

Select PDF, Markdown, or JSON depending on how you plan to use the output.

Download the File

Click Download. GetBuilo generates the file and your browser downloads it immediately. PDF generation typically takes 5–10 seconds for longer modules.

Exporting Your Entire Project

The Export All option packages every module’s output into a single download, giving you a complete business dossier in one file.

Open Project Settings

Go to your project and click the ⋯ menu in the project header, then select Export Project.

Select a Format

Choose your preferred format. For a complete business dossier, PDF produces a multi-section document with a cover page and table of contents. JSON exports a structured file containing all module outputs in machine-readable format. Markdown produces a single document with clear section headers for each module.

Choose What to Include

You can optionally deselect specific modules from the export if you only need a subset of your outputs. By default, all completed modules are included.

Download the Bundle

Click Export All. GetBuilo compiles all selected outputs and downloads a single file to your device. Large projects with many completed modules may take up to 30 seconds to compile.

Sharing Exported Files

Once you’ve exported your content, you can share it however works best for your situation:
  • Investors: Share the full project PDF as a preliminary business overview before you have a formal pitch deck. It demonstrates structured thinking and AI-validated research.
  • Co-founders: Use Markdown exports to paste outputs into shared tools like Notion, Confluence, or Google Docs for collaborative editing.
  • Developers: Use JSON exports to import your business data into custom-built tools, CRMs, or project management systems.
  • Advisors: Share the brand guide and customer persona PDFs to get feedback without granting full project access.
