How the Website Builder Works
The Website Builder doesn’t operate in isolation—it is the synthesis of your entire Founder Journey. Before generating your site, GetBuilo pulls in:- Your business name, tagline, color palette, and typography from Brand Creation
- Your product or service description, key features, and pricing from your Idea and Product stages
- Your customer persona goals, pain points, and preferred language to write copy that resonates
- Your market positioning to frame your value against alternatives
What GetBuilo Generates
Your website launches with seven pre-built sections, each automatically populated with content:- Hero section — A headline drawn from your tagline and top customer pain point, a supporting subheadline, a primary CTA button, and a placeholder for your hero image or product screenshot.
- Features / How It Works — Three to six feature blocks highlighting your core value propositions, written in language that maps directly to your personas’ goals.
- Pricing — Your pricing tiers, presented in a clean comparison layout, with the recommended plan highlighted.
- About — A short brand story paragraph that communicates your mission and builds trust with first-time visitors.
- Testimonials placeholder — A pre-formatted testimonials section ready for you to drop in real quotes once you have them—or optionally hide until you do.
- FAQ — Five to eight frequently asked questions generated from common objections in your customer personas and typical questions for your business category.
- Contact / CTA — A closing call-to-action section with a lead capture form or direct purchase prompt, plus your contact details.
How to Publish Your Website
1
Open Website Builder from your project
Navigate to Founder Journey in your project dashboard and click Website Builder. GetBuilo will show a loading screen for 20–30 seconds while it assembles your site from your Founder Journey data, then renders a full preview of all sections.
2
Review AI-generated sections
Scroll through the full page preview from top to bottom. Read every headline, subheadline, and paragraph with your customer persona in mind. Note anything that feels generic, inaccurate, or off-brand—you’ll fix those in the next step. Pay particular attention to the hero headline and CTA button text, since those have the biggest impact on conversions.
3
Edit copy and images as needed
Click any text element directly in the visual editor to edit it inline. To replace the hero image or any section background, click the image placeholder and upload your own file or choose from GetBuilo’s integrated stock photo library. You can also reorder sections by dragging them, toggle sections on or off using the section panel on the left, and adjust layout options (full-width vs. contained, light vs. dark section backgrounds) using the style controls on the right.
4
Configure SEO settings
Click the SEO tab in the top navigation bar. Set your meta title (50–60 characters), meta description (150–160 characters), and upload an Open Graph image (1200×630 px recommended) for social sharing previews. GetBuilo pre-fills these fields from your business name and tagline—review them and make sure they read naturally as search result snippets.
5
Connect your domain (or use your free subdomain)
Click Settings → Domain. If you own a custom domain, enter it here and follow the DNS configuration instructions GetBuilo provides (a CNAME or A record pointing to GetBuilo’s infrastructure). If you don’t have a domain yet, your site is instantly available at yourprojectname.getbuilo.app at no cost—you can always connect a custom domain later.
6
Click Publish
Once you’ve reviewed your copy, configured SEO, and set your domain, click the Publish button in the top-right corner. GetBuilo deploys your site to a global CDN, typically going live within 60 seconds. You’ll receive a confirmation with your live URL and a shareable preview link.
Editing After Launch
Publishing your site doesn’t lock it. You can return to the Website Builder at any time, make edits, and click Republish to push updates live. Changes typically propagate within a minute. This makes it easy to run copy experiments, add new sections as your product evolves, or update pricing without any downtime.Generating Additional Content with the AI Prompt Engine
Once your site is live, the AI Prompt Engine is available directly from the Website Builder to help you expand and refresh your content. Click Generate Content on any section to open the Prompt Engine with that section’s context pre-loaded. From there you can:- Rewrite a section — Generate a fresh version of any page section (hero, features, about) with a different tone or angle, then choose the version you prefer.
- Write a new page — Describe a page you want to add (e.g., a case study, a landing page for a specific audience, or an FAQ expansion) and the Prompt Engine will draft it using your brand voice and persona data.
- Generate blog posts — Produce SEO-optimized article drafts to add to your site’s blog or content hub, aligned to the keyword strategy from your Market Research.
SEO Best Practices

- Add alt text to all images using the image settings panel
- Keep your meta description benefit-focused and include a subtle call to action
- Connect Google Search Console (via Settings → Integrations) to monitor your indexing status and search performance from day one
