Founder Memory is the intelligence layer that makes GetBuilo fundamentally different from using standalone AI tools. Every time you complete a module, answer a business prompt, make a decision, or save an insight, that information is written to your Founder Memory—a structured, persistent knowledge base about your business. When any AI agent in GetBuilo runs, it reads your Founder Memory first. This means every generation, every coaching conversation, and every AI output starts from a deep understanding of your specific business rather than a blank slate. Over time, as your Founder Memory grows richer, your AI outputs become more precise, more tailored, and more useful.

What Founder Memory Stores

  • Industry trends relevant to your space
Decisions and history
  • Key decisions you’ve made and the reasoning behind them
  • Pivots, changes in direction, or strategic updates
  • Milestones reached and modules completed
  • Insights saved from Founder Coach conversations
Goals and constraints
  • Your launch timeline and near-term priorities
  • Budget, team size, and resource constraints

How Founder Memory Improves AI Output Over Time

When you first start a project in GetBuilo, the AI works from the initial information you provide. As you complete more modules and add more context, each generation becomes progressively more calibrated to your situation. A market research output early in your project will be solid. After you’ve completed competitor analysis, refined your customer profile, and had several Founder Coach conversations, the same market research module will produce insights that feel like they were written by someone who has been following your business closely. This compounding effect is especially noticeable in:
  • Founder Coach responses: The more context the Coach has, the more specific and actionable its advice becomes
  • Content generation: Brand copy and marketing content grow more consistent with your voice and positioning
  • Decision simulations: Scenario modeling becomes more accurate as your business data fills in
  • Opportunity Radar: Opportunities surfaced become more relevant as your market focus sharpens

Viewing and Editing Your Founder Memory

You can view your complete Founder Memory at any time from your project dashboard.
1

Open Founder Memory

Navigate to your project and select Founder Memory from the project menu. You’ll see your full memory organized by category.
2

Review stored context

Browse through each section to see exactly what the AI knows about your business. You’ll see entries added automatically by modules alongside insights you’ve saved manually.
3

Edit or correct entries

If any entry is outdated or incorrect, click the edit icon next to it. Keeping your Founder Memory accurate is important—the AI generates based on what’s stored, so stale information produces stale outputs.
4

Add context manually

You can add context directly to Founder Memory at any time without running a module. Use this to capture important decisions, constraints, or background information that isn’t covered by a standard module.
5

Delete entries

Remove any entry that no longer reflects your business. Outdated information can pull AI outputs in the wrong direction, so cleaning up your memory periodically keeps your generations sharp.

Memory Is Project-Scoped

Each project in GetBuilo has its own independent Founder Memory. If you’re working on multiple business ideas simultaneously, the AI context for each stays completely separate. Switching to a different project loads that project’s memory—the AI won’t mix up information between your businesses.
This project-scoped structure means you can freely explore and develop multiple ideas in parallel without one project’s context polluting another’s AI outputs. When you create a new project, it starts with a fresh Founder Memory that builds up as you work through that project’s modules.

What Happens When You Start a New Project

When you create a new project, GetBuilo walks you through an initial setup that seeds your Founder Memory with the basics: your business idea, target customer, and initial goals. This foundation gives the AI enough context to produce useful outputs immediately, even before you’ve completed any full modules. From there, every module you complete adds more depth to the memory.

Privacy and Data Control

Your Founder Memory is stored securely and is only accessible to you. GetBuilo does not use the contents of your Founder Memory to train AI models. Your business ideas, strategies, customer insights, and decision history remain private to your account. If you want to clear your Founder Memory for a project:
  1. Open Founder Memory from your project dashboard.
  2. Select Clear Memory from the settings menu.
  3. Confirm the action. This permanently removes all stored context for that project.
You can also selectively delete individual entries without clearing the entire memory, which is usually the better approach when you want to correct or update specific information.
Founder Memory eliminates the need to re-explain your business every time you use an AI feature. Once your context is established, every agent, every generation, and every coaching conversation picks up exactly where you left off—with full awareness of your business, your market, and your decisions. The more you build in GetBuilo, the less time you spend providing context and the more time you spend acting on insights.
